Overview

Coordinate VDC/BIM tasks, create and manage 2D/3D electrical drawings, and resolve design clashes.

Tasks

-Travel to project sites as needed to support coordination and execution efforts. -Prepare and track Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify design intent and ensure accurate project documentation. -Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to resolve design issues and communicate adjustments. -Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes and maintain compliance with budget, constructability, and code requirements. -Create, review, and manage 2D and 3D electrical drawings for field installation and coordination with other subcontractor trades. -Maintain adherence to all company safety programs, policies, and procedures. -Develop detailed shop drawings, cross-sections, and layout plans for conduit, cable, and electrical systems to support fabrication and installation. -Interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings for field coordination.

What You Bring

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook with solid general computer skills. -High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or trade education preferred. -Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM 360 Glue, or BIM Collaborate. -Strong understanding of construction blueprints, specifications, and 3D coordination across multiple trades. -Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a BIM/VDC Assistant Coordinator, or 5 years in a related technical or design role.
