Strong ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Recent experience in Project Management roles
Experience with relevant Australian Standards, Industry Design Guides and Local Authority Specifications.
Demonstrated technical background in Pavements Engineering related disciplines for state and local government agencies or other transport related clients, including: Flexible (bound and unbound) and rigid pavement design, Road & highways pavements to state Transport Authorities specifications, Sealed and unsealed airports pavements, Mining haul roads, Ports & heavy industrial pavements, Pavement condition assessments and rehabilitation design, Pavement & geotechnical investigations
Relevant qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g., Civil, Structural).
Recent experience delivering projects for the SA Department for Infrastructure & Transport or the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.
Experience with a range of pavement design software which may include CIRCLY, APSDS and HIPAVE
Experience in sustainable pavement engineering practices including stabilisation, recycled pavement materials etc.
A technical problem-solver with demonstrated experience in a range of civil and transport projects.
Efficient multi-tasker with a fundamental understanding of project delivery processes.
We are open to the role being in either Adelaide or Brisbane however the candidate will work on projects throughout Australia, predominately South Australia, Queensland, NSW and Victoria.
10+ years of professional experience in civil engineering, ideally within a consulting environment.
A passionate and proactive team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
