Tasks
-Aids in unit control center operations. Develops/coordinates emergency response procedures, status charts, and checklists. Trains personnel assigned to UCC duties. Serves as EM representative to UCC when required. -Conducts EM Program Reviews. When requested by unit commanders assist base agencies with their unit EM program; develop unit checklist; developing unit CBRN training schedules; developing EM, Hurricane and Shelter In Place (SIP) checklists; performs trend analysis; assists in developing report on recommended corrective actions. -Participates in contingency/disaster exercises. Assists Base exercise program(s) in the development of scenario's, receives and assess notification; helps activate and man control center/Disaster Control Group; assembles personnel; prepares equipment; establishes command and control operations; assists BCE and EOC Manager / Director and staff. -Reviews, develops and/or updates planning documents. Determines requirements; collects data; performs analysis; coordinates with affected agencies; prepares, updates, checklists. -Tasks may be performed in uneven, inclined, hard, and soft-carpeted surfaces/floors, cement structures and surfaces. -Responds to contingency or disaster. Receives and evaluates notifications; and supports the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) with admin duties. -Conducts training on response equipment; secures equipment; processes completion notification; and updates training in Automated Civil Engineer System (ACES). -While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time, sit, use of hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, or smell. -Completing all mandated training requirements per government and management directives. -Dealing with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. -Supports installation EM/CBRN training requirements; conducts CBRN Defense training; develops training material; revises training material; prepares training schedules; processes training report and metrics; and maintains training lesson plans. -Embraces and contributes to the parent company’s safety culture. -Effectively coordinating several projects simultaneously. -The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and follow safe lifting procedures.

What You Bring
-Knowledge of directives governing the Air Force EM Program. -Compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures. -Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card. -U.S. Citizenship. -Ability to use tools, equipment, chemicals, etc. to perform essential functions of the job. -Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS). -Ability to obtain any other Government credentials that may be required. -Completion of the AETC Readiness Apprentice Course. -Adherence to established company operating policies, procedures and accepted industrial practices. -Timely and cost-effective performance of duties. -Ability to use standard office equipment /tools as may be required for the position (computer, phone, copy machine, hand-held radio, etc.) -Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret Security clearance. -Communicating effectively orally and in writing. -Successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract. -Ability to work M-F, 0730–1630, with occasional overtime during emergencies. -Knowledge of the CBRN warfare defense and response procedures. -Having the ability to work well under pressure. -Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. -Ability to analyze EM data and reports. -Five (5) years of relevant work experience.
