The Role

Overview

Tracks and expedites project document submittals to ensure on‑time delivery.

Tasks

-Attends weekly project meetings. -Run Expediting calls with suppliers and project team to support assigned packages and Document status. -Perform all Expeditor duties in accordance with the Project Expediting Standard Operating Procedure for the project in which assigned with focus on Documents as defined above. -Provides updates to the project team on deliverables according to the contract to support Advanced Work Packaging. -Performs expediting activities associated with ensuring on-time delivery of equipment/material and documentation.

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or GED -Experience leading and managing others -Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc). -Experienced communicator with effective verbal and written communication that allows for relationship and rapport building -2-5 years of relevant experience -Ability to work independently with minimal direction -Travel required up to 25% of time for home office positions -Associate or bachelor’s degree -Could be required to embed in fabrication facility or jobsite as required -1-3 years relevant work experience -Experience/Working knowledge of Oracle -Critical thinking skills/problem solving skills to Plan and perform work where only general policies or procedures are available -Expediting experience in large industrial construction project -Intermediate to Advance knowledge of working with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc) -Ability to recognize timelines and deadlines to prioritize work accordingly
