Tasks

-Provide data and reconciliations in support of internal and external reporting requirements. -Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation. -Own month-end and quarter-end close processes, including corporate accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations. -Contribute ad-hoc projects and financial analysis that help support strategic decision-making. -Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, disclosures, MD&A, and the Annual Information Form. -Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages to management and the Board of Trustees.

What You Bring

-Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal abilities. -Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and a passion for doing things the right way. -Experience in tax considered an asset. -CPA designation with 2+ years of post-designation experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting. -Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with accounting systems (Yardi experience is a plus!). -A detail-oriented mindset paired with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
