Tasks

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Hardware and Mechanical engineers, production site, and product managers to ensure optimal integration of power electronics into overall system design. -Conduct PCB design reviews, simulations, and analysis to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards. -Apply best practices for high-power and high-frequency PCB design, including layer stack-up optimization, thermal management, and EMC/EMI mitigation strategies. -Stay updated with latest PCB design tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance design efficiency and product innovation. -Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during product development. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in power electronics and firmware technologies. -Work closely with manufacturing partners to resolve any PCB fabrication and assembly issues. -Selection of PCB materials and components, considering factors such as performance, cost, availability, and manufacturability. -Design and develop PCB layouts for power electronics systems, including but not limited to Power Inverters, converters, EV chargers, and other power management systems.

What You Bring

-Experience with thermal and mechanical considerations in high-power PCB layout design. -Experience in the renewable energy or power electronics industry is an added advantage. -Strong understanding of power electronics principles and components, familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to power electronics and PCB layout design. -Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. -Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. -6+ Years of relevant experience in PCB design for power electronics applications. -Proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., Cadence OrCAD, Allegro, Altium etc.) -Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
