The Role

Overview

Process field survey data, compute plans, liaise with managers for pipeline integrity projects.

Tasks

-Liaise closely with project managers to effectively provide clients with excellent service. -Follow Midwest Surveys health and safety protocols with commitment to ongoing learning in this area. -Contribute to examination of existing processes to determine what, if any, changes can be made to increase efficiencies in the field and office. -Work closely with our team on field data processing, job progress tracking, and survey plan-checking and computations.

What You Bring

-Good communication skills and a strong sense of professionalism when interacting with crews, drafting staff, Land Surveyors, and clients. -Proficiency in the use of survey software including MicroSurvey. -Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Survey industry, similar role preferred. -Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. -Demonstrated accuracy, neatness, and professionalism in the development of survey products. -Working knowledge of how GPS and total stations are used in the collection of survey data. -Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office applications. -Understanding of survey methodologies, land surveying acts, and government regulations as they apply to the practice of Land Surveying. -Strong mathematical and computer operating skills.
