The Role
Overview
Maintain and clean grounds, landscaping, snow removal, and minor repairs for apartment community.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Distributes communication to residents. -Physically walks the property, removes trash, litter, and debris from the grounds. -Helps clean and maintain storage areas. -Performs interior and exterior painting duties when requested. -Reports all major repairs and/or needs to the maintenance team.

-Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity adheres to company’s policies and procedures and complies with applicable laws, government rules, and regulations. -Ability to interact efficiently with prospects, residents, peers, and management. -Must be knowledgeable of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing property storage and management of hazardous materials. -Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents. -High School diploma or equivalent preferred. -Willing to work outdoors in all conditions. -Be knowledgeable in local and state codes for permitting, sign ordinances, and pool regulations. -Present self in a neat, clean and professional manner at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community. -Able to lift up to 50 lbs to a minimum of should height, climb ladders and stairs, walk between buildings and on building roofs. -Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations. -Ability to commute to pick up replacement parts and supplies from vendors. -Snow removal from the property, able to push a salt spreader. -Must be able to stoop, kneel, and bend and work on items at floor level. -Be able to work evenings and weekends. -Knowledge and ability to use a lawnmower and landscaping tools/equipment.
