Senior System Protection & Studies Engineer

Overview

Perform system protection studies, modeling, calculations, and mentoring on engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• design tasks

Tasks

-Perform routine engineering and design tasks, and participate in field reviews or construction observation -Complete engineering calculation reports such as load flow, short circuit, grounding and arc flash studies -Provide a review of engineering work deliverables following HDR’s QA/QC procedures -Conducting analyses to develop design options, performing modeling and/or calculations -May work independently on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects. -Provide mentorship to junior team members -Provide testing and commissioning plans
