-Review and comment on designs, shop drawings, and technical reports from others -Preliminary and detailed structural design for new and existing bridges and civil structures -Prepare design drawings, calculation packages, and technical reports -Analyse simple and complex structures using structural analysis software

What You Bring
-Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, advanced reinforced concrete design, and civil engineering fundamentals. -Master’s degree in civil engineering architectural or structural engineering with an emphasis on structures -Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and/or on technical design projects -Innovative minds: We’re looking for critical thinkers who embrace new ideas and challenge the status quo. -Bachelor’s degree in civil, architectural, or structural engineering -Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher -Learning to navigate through design codes and technical guideline -Structural analysis software skills (Midas, SAP / CSiBridge , etc.), and 2D/3D modelling skills (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Rhino, etc.) -Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working -Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future to be considered for this role -Learning about the Arup Structural Skills Network -Eligible to become a member of PEO, APEGA, EGBC, and/or OIQ -Recent and soon-to-be graduates: Whether you’ve just graduated or are graduating before the role starts, we want to hear from you if your degree is in a relevant field. -The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment -Programming (Python, VBA, etc.) and parametric modeling skills (Grasshopper, Dynamo, etc.)
