Quality Control Inspector

Overview

Inspect and test PVC pipe and fittings on the production floor for quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• physical testing
• inspection
• material evaluation
• qc checks
• hand measurements
• sample cutting

Tasks

-Distributes reports and tests as necessary -Assists with and performs physical tests on plastic pipe and fittings -Inspects plastic pipe and fittings while in process and finished stages -Evaluates samples of incoming materials -Performs quality control line checks -Uses hand measurements tools to include calipers, dial gauges, etc. -Uses saws to cut test samples -Pull samples from floor

Requirements

• 1 year
• high school
• microsoft office

• lift 50lb

What You Bring

-At least 1 year of related experience, preferred -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. -Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and directions -High School diploma or GED or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification, other related experience or combination thereof -Computer literate experienced with Microsoft Office software -Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
