Tasks

-Analyze specifications and performance requirements for design improvements. -Generate and verify engineering release documentation. -Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and fluid power teams for solid modeling and engineering. -Determine feasibility of equipment modification or new designs. -Use engineering calculations and FEA to support product designs. -Layout and design mechanical parts and systems in 3D CAD.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 3 years in mechanical design in industries such as automotive, powersports, industrial equipment, or machine/automated equipment. -Proficiency in fluid mechanics, casting, weldment, hydraulics, and design. -Action-oriented with application-level experience being more important than CAD experience. -Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, and complex assemblies. -2-year AAS degree. -Experience with large assemblies, weldment, machine, and routing design. -Willingness to learn and good communication skills. -Experience with Inventor preferred, but other CAD packages are considered.
