Tasks

-Collaborate with Accounting team to ensure timely reporting following each closed reporting period. -Partner with project managers to improve project-level financial health and margins. -Identify financial risks, opportunities, and recommend corrective actions. -Independently manage complex financial projects and cross-functional initiatives. -Develop and lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. -Support mergers, acquisitions, and business development initiatives with financial due diligence. -Lead development of corporate financial dashboards and decision-support tools. -Conduct corporate-level and project-level variance analysis. -Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to Financial Analysts and other staff. -Deliver executive-ready reports and presentations summarizing financial performance. -Lead ad hoc analysis for leadership, including resource allocation, pricing, and capital investments. -Mentor junior analysts by reviewing work, teaching best practices, and supporting development. -Provide strategic financial guidance to department heads and corporate leaders. -Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies. -Drive continual improvement of company forecasting models and processes -Perform advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments. -Drive process automation and leverage financial systems/BI tools to improve efficiency.

What You Bring

-CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred (not required). -Self-reliance and ability to operate independently with limited direction. -Highly motivated and problem-solving attitude. -Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder. -Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds. -Five to seven (5-7) years of progressive financial analysis experience in a corporate environment. -Prior experience in A/E, construction, or professional services industry strongly preferred. -Excellent understanding of financial reports and metrics. -Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds. -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required. -High degree of discretion and ability to manage highly confidential information. -Effective verbal and written communication skills. -Strong executive presence and ability to influence decisions at senior levels. -Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. -Effective working relationship with internal leaders and peers, as well as external clients. -Strong work ethic and commitment to quality. -Data analysis and interpretation skills. -Strong sense of urgency in responding to constituents. -Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
