  • Develop and review proposals and reports.

  • Coordinate technical training for field personnel.
  • Provide technical support and assistance for field personnel.
  • Develop daily schedule for Field Engineers and Technicians.
  • Work with Business Administrator to develop weekly invoicing and monthly status reports.
  • Perform employee reviews and recommend appropriate salary changes.

  • Graduate Engineer BSEE or BSME and two years experience. OR Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent and five years minimum same or similar work experience. OR High school education or equivalent and six years minimum same or similar work experience.
  • Passed the NETA III/NETA IV (International Electrical Testing Association) exam or NICET equivalent.
  • Frequent bending / twisting
  • Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.)
  • Does NOT require relocation to a Vertiv headquarter or regional office at this time.
  • Strong computer skills including editing, formatting and using templates in Microsoft Word, use of Internet for standards/products/manufacturer research and operation of computer controlled test equipment.
  • Strong background and experience in most types of switchgear testing through the 230 kV class.

  • Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays and night work. Must be available for out- of-town work of up to several months.
  • Working around moving machinery (fork-lifts, tractors)

  • Willing to travel anywhere in North America ~80% of the time. Schedule is dependent upon project work and is flexible to the degree it can be. This is worked out on a case by case basis with your assigned project manager. PTO scheduled in advance can and will be accommodated.
