Overview
Manage and administer complex contract packages for a large infrastructure development.

Tasks
-Assesses and manages simple claims related to contract disputes or changes. -Maintains accurate records of all contracts and their performance. -Draft letters, instructions, general notices and other contractual correspondence. -Ensures that contract obligations are met by all parties involved. -Prepares regular reports on contract status, compliance, and financial performance. -Provides guidance and training to junior contracts administrators and project personnel. -Monitors commercial performance to ensure compliance with contract and timelines. -Identifies potential risks in contract terms and liaises with project teams to mitigate them. -Develops best practices for contract management within the organization. Provides guidance on contractual matters to delivery team and other stakeholders. -Leads agreement of final account, expedites receipt of all contract deliverables and closes out contracts in line with project procedures. -Prepares documentation and support for the assessment of entitlement with regard to claims submitted by consultants / contractors.

What You Bring
-Ability to meticulously review contracts and documents for accuracy and compliance, identifying potential issues. -Knowledge of when to engage legal counsel Understanding of project management principles and practices to oversee contract execution against project timelines Capability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contracts and project delivery. -Experience of working on large infrastructure projects and/or large real estate developments. -Professional Accreditation (MRICS, MCIArb or equivalent) is preferred. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. -Detailed knowledge of the FIDIC Suite of Contracts and their utilization on major construction projects Proficiency in negotiating terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization. -Experience and detailed knowledge in contract pricing structures, contract law, contract drafting, tendering procedures & requirements. -Experience in evaluating and negotiating contract claims, variations, and extensions. -Typically requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience. -Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial principles related to project contracts. -Strong organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and ensure documentation is thorough and accessible. -Strong analytical abilities to interpret contract language, identify implications, and assess contractor performance.
