Tasks

-Assist in conducting daily morning safety meetings. -Support the site safety team in performing comprehensive site safety audits. -This position will travel to designated sites as directed by the Safety Director. -Attend site meetings with clients to gain insight into the client-contractor partnership and professional relationships. -Participate in weekly safety team calls and provide constructive feedback when appropriate. -Arrive at the assigned job site on time and prepared to work. -Collaborate with the site safety team to effectively manage and respond to jobsite injuries. -Develop a thorough understanding of safety protocols specific to CCR and heavy civil activities at the assigned job site.

What You Bring

-Previous internship experience is preferred but not required. -Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality and process improvement. -Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program studying Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field -Detail oriented and self-motivated. -Proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel -Willingness and demonstrative initiative to learn new programs, systems, and tools as they become available.
