Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.

Train and supervise quality assurance staff.

Participate in inventory processes, including cycle counting.
Conduct daily inspections of incoming materials and first articles.
Manage Non-Conformance reports and QC hold areas.
Maintain quality files and inspect production parts, reporting errors.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and customers.
Ensure regulatory compliance.
Prepare quality reports for management.
Communicate effectively with managers, clients, and the public.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level of the organization; invest in building relationships with the Field Operations and Field Support Center team members.

Familiarity with Six Sigma and/or Lean methodologies preferred.
Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Q/Q and statistical software is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement and initiative.
Must be able to receive and analyze information.
Competence in mathematical concepts, including statistics and geometry.
Understanding of in-house ERP and CAD systems for basic tasks.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed, while also collaborating with others to get the job done.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 80% of the time.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
5+ years in quality control, ideally in manufacturing.
Proficient in QC measurement tools (height gauges, calipers, etc.).
Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
Capable of effectively presenting information and addressing questions.
Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers.
Must be able to multitask.
Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks.
Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.
Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results.
Strong writing skills for reports and manuals.
