Tasks

Scott Humphrey has partnered with a large and reputable general contractor to assist in finding a Senior Project Manager for their headquarters in Austin. As a Construction Assistant Large commercial new construction; project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections. -Relationship Management - Formulates relationships with subcontractor field personnel based on mutual respect and knowledge. -Exhibits an unwavering commitment to safety, including assisting with weekly safety meetings and taking preemptive measures to ensure safe work practices.

What You Bring

-Demonstrate an understanding of trade-specific work/scope and how it fits together and affects other trades. Ability to contact and direct subcontractors, suppliers, testing lab, rental equipment companies, security, and temporary labor.. -Demonstrates commitment to quality construction and utilising the guidelines set forth in the Company's QA/QC program. -Minimum of 1 Year of commercial new construction experience in - Education, Municipal, Corrections, Healthcare, Mission Critical, Office, Faith-Based construction projects. -Demonstrates the ability to prepare, adjust, and adhere to a 3-week look ahead and overall project schedules. Display a sense of urgency. -Have an ability to convey your message both verbally and in writing in a professional, intelligent, and concise manner. -Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. -Ability to recognise conflicts in construction documents and in the field before they happen. Has intimate knowledge of the work site and can direct work according to the Superintendent’s direction. -Understand subcontracts, subcontractor responsibilities, and subcontractor scope of work.
