Tasks

-oversight of data and integrated reporting systems. -the development of company-wide policy and strategies including climate hazard risk assessment and transition planning. -influencing the strategic direction and outcomes delivered by other business units to ensure sustainability outcomes are fully integrated across Watercare.

What You Bring

-Experience working in the water sector would be preferred although this is not essential. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills, together with the ability to tailor the message to the intended audience across all areas of the business. -The ability to work across the business and industry using strategic and organisational linkages to advocate for and embed successful solutions. -Excellent facilitation, solutions-oriented problem solving and influencing skills coupled with the ability to bring together diverse multi-functional teams and work with the executive, board and business units to help determine Watercare’s future. -Bachelor of Engineering, Science or equivalent tertiary qualification. -Extensive experience in sustainability and climate including a sound strategic approach to system boundaries and uncertainty.
