Tasks

-Identify and develop the strategic vision for targeted client relationships with multiple new and existing clients and oversee the sales team’s execution of the plans. -Proactively provide perspective and strategic recommendations to clients, adding value to their business as a trusted partner and advisor. -Oversee the staffing plans for the market to develop internal talent and partner with the People team to recruit key external talent as needed. -Establish yourself as a thought leader within the Discover + Science market and the Design industry to bring new and innovative thoughts, trends, and ideas to our clients and the firm. -Achieve the market’s financial and business goals, including net revenue performance, sales, profitability, and chargeability results. -Build a business leader network with key Discover + Science industry influencers. -Provide oversight to the client projects ensuring adherence to our BHDP Design Process and operational management tools supporting proper resource planning, forecasting, and project budget delivery. -Develop, lead, and communicate the market strategy and business plan in alignment with the firm's current and future goals and objectives.

What You Bring

-5 or more years of discovery and science industry expertise is required. -Strong client relationship-building experience. -Experience with the Sander Sales Process is preferred. -Present BHDP Discover + Science market-focused thought leadership at professional national organization conferences attended by existing and prospective Discover + Science clients. -Travel expectations will vary for this role with an anticipated range of 30% - 40% of the time. -Candidates must possess the ability to demonstrate organizational savvy and build strategic relationships. -A degree in architecture and registration is preferred but not required. -Fifteen or more years of experience in the architecture or design field is required. -Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a self-starter is important.
