Tasks

-Establishes practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization. -Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables. -Create procedures, parameters, protocols, and standards, including NTEs, on-site work protocols, and scope of work. -Directly supervise and mentor technicians, ensuring proper training, performance management, and adherence to company policies, including recommendations to management regarding performance reviews, hiring, firing and discipline. -Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures; Investigate, resolve, and troubleshoot issues related to client projects, including but not limited to quality control, budgeting, and timeliness. -Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities. -Builds Effective Teams - Understands and uses team-based Processes to accomplish goals; blends people into teams when needed; creates strong morale and spirit in his/her team; shares wins and successes; fosters open dialogue; lets people finish and be responsible for their work; defines success in terms of the whole team; creates a feeling of belonging in the team. -Proactively develop relationships with the subcontractor community. -Consult with and advise management on all aspects of project management, client projects, and deliverables to clients. -Leverages industry expertise to negotiate contract terms with subcontractors and clients. -Organizing - Mobilizes appropriate resources (People, funding, materials, and support) to get things done. Manage multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish goals, establishes efficient work procedures to meet objectives. Forms the right structures, processes, and/or teams to enhance productivity. -Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues. -Manage all aspects of assigned projects and program engagement from planning, external vendor performance, communication, resources, budget, change, and overall support of the production team. -Provide day-to-day directions to assigned project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting. -Establish practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization. -Creates and directs project schedules, budgets, costs, bids, and materials. -Daily communication with Field team to support their field and site management of the assigned projects and other duties as assigned. -Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization. -Authorizes change orders, discounts, and changes in pricing consistent with client needs and market conditions. -Leadership: Is an effective leader and articulates clear and compelling standards and expectations. Provides day-to-day leadership by supporting team members through coaching and guidance; manages performance through regular feedback and goal-setting; serves as a knowledgeable resource for project and process-related inquiries; acts as the primary escalation point to resolve high-priority or complex issues efficiently. -Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities. -Ensure Technicians are scheduled and given proper scopes and/or guidance as to the work to be performed. -Project Management - Effectively uses the company's systematic approach to planning, organizing, directing, supervising and accomplishing the goals of a project(s) requirements and activities to meet objectives. Includes balancing the task requirements within the constraints of schedules and budgets. -Full project life cycle ownership: Manage and oversee all aspects of project life cycle. Successful project delivery will include full implementation from preplanning through closeout for several major and minor initiatives simultaneously. -Oversee and provide guidance on assigned projects to clients, vendors, and Watterson staff. -Assist in the procurement of adequate resources to achieve project objectives within planned timeframes. -Secures, hires, oversees, and terminates sub-contractors.

-Ability to read and understand blueprints and structural documents. -Adaptability – Adapts by adjusting behavior, routines, and habits to meet goals and changing circumstances, maintaining balance amid conflicting demands. -Strong time management and organizational skills -Effective Communicator – Consistently communicates clearly and thoroughly, optimizing audience understanding with concise, timely, and effective speaking and presentation skills. -Basic understanding of restoration and/or construction techniques & building materials -Problem solving – Poses insightful questions, explores all sources for answers, uncovers hidden patterns, goes beyond the obvious, employs rigorous logic to understand problem origins, and devises creative, cost-effective solutions. -At least 5 years of work experience, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally managing people. -Analytical thinking – Leverages facts and data for logical assumptions, discerns significance, identifies inconsistencies, and draws accurate inferences through differentiation, comparison, contrast, linking, and research. -Industry Certifications, preferred. -Customer Service focused and client experience driven -Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines -Self-Sufficiency and Autonomy: Has the ability and expertise to operate independently and with minimal oversight with respect to all job requirements. -Proficient with Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Excel) -Excellent communication & interpersonal skills -Collaboration/Relationship Building – Cultivates strong working relationships through interpersonal skills, secures cooperation, promotes win-win solutions, and collaborates effectively with individuals beyond formal authority to achieve goals. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, engineering, architecture, preferred. -Knowledge of building codes.
