Tasks
-Contribute to business development activities -Provide robust post contract cost control measures, establishing the effect of variations and evaluating and negotiating final account settlements -Prepare and issue tender documents -Attend meetings, prepare financial reports and monitor on the status of projects -Advise on building contract terms -Working with digital tools for quantitative outtake and cost estimating; -Evaluate the cost of building designs and alternative proposals to maintain project budgets -Assist on all aspects of cost management from inception to completion -Keep up with changes in construction laws, new software, and cost estimation techniques -Supporting Clients and other stakeholders in their decision making; -Manage the tender process, review and analyse tender returns and prepare recommendations to the client as well as advice on procurement routes -Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and consultants -Assist on large scale and/or multiple projects with key clients

What You Bring
-Sound knowledge of JCT & NEC Suite of Contracts; -Commercially aware with excellent negotiation and organisational skills. -Interest in digitisation, AI, BIM, Proficient using CostX -Self-motivated and willing to take responsibility; -Adaptability; able to adjust to changes in project scope, economic conditions, or new client requirements; -Relevant degree in a quantity surveying, or similar, RICS accredited course. -Experience as a Quantity Surveyor -Critical thinking; be able to analyse project costs, contracts, and risks objectively to make informed decisions. -Produce high level feasibility studies, cost estimates, cost plans throughout all stages of the design stage with competence in producing BOQ’s. -Articulate, capable of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships -Understanding of construction methodologies and building elements -Ability to lead a team work to tight deadlines, staying organised, and managing workload efficiently -Working towards MRICS preferred but not essential;
