Tasks

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering detailed electrical designs, including calculations, specifications, and comprehensive drawings, using EPlan and AutoCAD software. -Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed, particularly for Control & LV Electrical Switchgear Panels and Cabling Installations. -Liaise with clients and interpret their requirements to provide engineering solutions and costed, documented proposals; produce design specifications as required. -Manage electrical engineering designs and provide supporting technical and commissioning services. -Provide electrical engineering support by critically reviewing design submissions to ensure technical standards are met. -Ensure projects are fit for purpose and adhere to budget and schedule constraints.

What You Bring

-Proven experience in electrical design for automation and control systems. -Strong knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, SCADA, and motor control systems. -Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar electrical CAD software. -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
