Overview

Supports static equipment engineering for offshore oil & gas projects.

Tasks

-Participates in design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, vendor qualification, and vendor bid evaluations as requested. -Provides technical mentorship to early-career professionals, with emphasis in areas of identified skill gaps. -Supports technical evaluations to address issues with equipment and system design, operation, and maintenance. -Maintains current knowledge (e.g., through participation in industry conferences / forums) while proactively growing discipline’s technical expertise in pertinent technologies on continuous basis. -Participates in internal networks through which their capabilities can be disseminated to the benefit of others. -Supports static equipment engineering needs across Projects and Operations organization. -Provides pertinent engineering expertise to Root Cause Failure Analysis. -Stewardship of engineering work quality, effectiveness, and efficiency. -Reviews project and contractor deliverables as requested to ensure compliance with project specifications, Design Practices, Static Equipment Toolkit guidance, and best practices. Documents to be reviewed may include Piping & Instrument Diagrams, equipment arrangements, equipment specifications, data sheets, vendor proposals, and technical studies. -Supports functional initiatives and maintains discipline documentation pertinent to company facilities. -Coordination of communication between different stakeholders in Projects and Operations organization. Coordination of teleconferences and management of communication and reporting tools.

What You Bring

-Experience with operating pressure vessels heat exchangers and tanks including equipment selection, sizing, design, installation, preservation, commissioning, start-up, operation, surveillance, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading, and decommissioning. -Having minimum 5 years of previous experience working in Offshore projects would be an added advantage. -Minimum 5 years’ experience in responsible roles in static equipment engineering design for projects in the Oil and Gas Industry. -Minimum Overall 10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas industry. -Must have worked at least 5 years of experience in a similar position for a mega oil and gas construction project ( more than US$ 1 Billion) -Minimum 5 years of experience in upstream oil and gas engineering projects. -Minimum 5 years of experience working for upstream oil and gas company will be preferred -Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from recognized university with minimum GPA 6.0 or above.
