Tasks

-Community Engagement: Represent the hotel at trade shows, civic events, and local organizations to build connections and enhance the property’s visibility. -Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager, Department Heads, and staff to ensure seamless communication and alignment of sales and marketing strategies. -Innovative Marketing: Design and implement creative marketing campaigns, including print, digital, and outdoor advertising, to boost brand awareness and drive business. -Target Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market segments to grow the hotel’s customer base, while creating special packages to boost occupancy during slower periods. -Lead Sales Strategy: Drive revenue by developing and executing sales strategies that attract new business and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts. -Budget Management: Maintain the Sales Department’s annual budget, ensuring costs are controlled while maximizing revenue opportunities. -Sales Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and support the Sales team, ensuring the team’s productivity, growth, and alignment with hotel objectives. -Achieve Financial Goals: Focus on meeting or surpassing budget targets, ensuring the success and profitability of the property.

What You Bring

-Expertise in digital marketing strategies and tools, including social media and analytics platforms. -Familiarity with the Newark market and its unique appeal (preferred but not required). -A proven track record in sales and marketing leadership, ideally within the hospitality industry. -Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. -Creative and analytical thinker with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
