The Role

Overview

Manages project accounting, financial reporting, cash‑flow and compliance for construction projects.

Tasks

-Compiling owner requisition -Facilitate project meetings to successfully coordinate work activity -Lead project close-out of project, including turnover of manuals and warranties and preparation of final payment documents for subcontractors -Provide leadership to foster an environment of inclusion and diversity -Support the company’s acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations -Project cash-flow monitoring and forecasting -Take an active role in recruiting top industry talent to join the Clark team. Identify, hire, and retain outstanding people -Prepare monthly cost reports -Support monthly project financial forecast -Management of field payroll -Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project -Consumable materials purchasing and equipment inventory monitoring -Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting -Lead, train, and develop project team members -Change Order Monitoring & Reconciliation -Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline project priorities and issues -Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors -Proactively identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate and win the right work -Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner, engineering and design firms -Small Business Tracking and Reporting -Assist with project setup, closeout, and owner contract review and readiness

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other business-related fields or similar relevant work experience -Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint -Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills -Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved -Highly motivated individual with strong organizational and time management skills -Careful attention to detail and reliability of output -Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: self-motivated, results oriented, adaptable, team player, accountable, ethical, innovative, resilient, builds relationships, builds people/teams and followership, sets direction and executes -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Experience with SAP, Textura, Coupa, or Google platforms a plus -Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
