Tasks
-Collect rent payments and past due balances from residents -In Community Manager’s absence, aid in monitoring staff for the successful operation of the community. -Provide superior customer service -Receive and process collections in accordance with company standards -Maintain all resident files, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all paperwork and documentation -Maintain all account records and transactions including NSF’s, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other management approved debits and credits -Conduct resident move-out apartment inspections and complete deposit accountings with Community Manager’s approval

What You Bring
-Experience: Two years + of residential property management experience as an Assistant Community Manager -Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) a plus! -Education: High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Business preferred. -Able to work in a fast-paced environment with little direction. -Able to work weekends. -Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office products. -Have a complete understanding of Fair Housing and knowledge of other laws that apply to property management, such as Fair Credit Reporting Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Landlord Tenant Law, OSHA Standards, local and state building codes. -Able to sit, stand, walk and climb stairs for long periods of time. -Being thoroughly familiar with the local area and the community and what it has to offer prospective residents. -Possess strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. -Demonstrate ability to resolve resident complaints and direct pertinent issues and matters to the Community Manager -Knowledge of RealPage products preferred, including OneSite -Able to travel and stay overnight, as needed.
