The Role
Overview
Assist customers via phone, email, chat on product, warranty, and support tasks.

Tasks
-Handle requests and product complaints. -Evaluate manufacturing defect flooring claims and warranty issues. Process credits for product defects or customer satisfaction. -Support various programs and promotional efforts of Product Channel Managers. -Provide back-up support within the team. -Coordinate merchandising, display, literature, and point of purchase material shipment for ASA new store openings, relocations, and remerchandising. -Assist consumer in buying decisions and provide them with retail locations to make a purchase. -Respond, answer, and handle inquiries via an 800 phone number, email, and instant message regarding product, installation, maintenance, and warranty information. -Exercise decision-making capabilities to quickly and effectively resolve customer issues resulting in high customer satisfaction.

What You Bring
-Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). -Talk, hear, read, write, and comprehend English -Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. -One year of related experience, preferably in a call center environment -Maintain regular and punctual attendance (consistent with ADA and/or FMLA) -Superior verbal and written communication and customer service skills and a commitment to consistently exceeding the customer's expectations. -Multitask in a fast-paced environment -Learn, understand, and transfer knowledge relative to multiple product categories. Exercise strong listening skills and problem-solving skills relative to customer inquiries. -Attention to detail -Sitting or standing for extended periods of time -Think analytically -Communicate effectively -Walking, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements -Push, pull, carry, and lift 20 - 50lbs -High school diploma or GED required. -Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment -Ability and willingness to work core hours to support the needs of our customers and consumers.
