Assist in commercial lifecycle and cost control for construction projects

Tasks

-Cashflow forecasting -Ensure effective control of costs in all activity -Timely instructions are issued to the supply chain with appropriate governance having been secured -Support the Senior QS colleague(s) with: -Subcontract procurement -Reporting to the project lead Quantity Surveyor the Assistant role is to support in the day-to-day activities of the commercial lifecycle of a construction project -Liaison within the team, with other teams and the supply chain.

What You Bring

-Relevant construction or business degree, or equivalent -Computer literate -Experience of construction -Full driving licence -Financial reporting related to Schemes is produced to the required standard and to the timetable as set from time to time -Has attained or is planning to attain a relevant post-degree qualification for example RICS -Experience in the build sector, ideally education, accommodation or commercial construction
