Overview

Oversee plumbing construction crews, schedule, safety, and quality compliance.

Tasks

-As required, works with tools to meet construction schedules or other demands. -Identifies conflicts or need for clarification in contract documents. -Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications. -Utilizes technical expertise to prepare material take-offs, design systems, and generate detailed sketches from various project documents. -Verifies that delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals. -Coaches, mentors, and provides guidance to craft workers, (plumbing trade). Schedules and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and operation of equipment and machinery. Verify all staff certifications when scheduling personnel on a project. -Eliminates construction and job site hazards and performs required safety observations. -Coordinates placement and storage of materials, tools and supplies to support the construction plan. Assists in maintaining assigned tool inventory. -Plays a key role in project planning, overseeing construction schedules, manpower requirements, and staffing decisions based on equipment knowledge.

What You Bring

Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems. Proven experience as a Construction Foreman. Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints. Preferred qualifications include technical training or an Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines. Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
