Interfaces with Safety and Risk Management in establishing clinics, managing first report of injuries, and assisting with co-worker case management
Works with the Project Manager to approve and code project invoices
Develops and manages the project schedule on small or mid-sized projects
Collaborates with pre-construction and the project team to manage the job transition process, communicate project requirements, and develop the initial procurement plans, budgets, etc.
Collects necessary documentation to identify and determine impact of potential contract changes, disputes, and claims
Prepares field purchase orders for standard purchase packages, and generates and obtains approval of Major Purchase Orders
Reviews and confirms reports documenting compliance (Company and subcontractors) with prevailing wage, workforce utilization, MBE/SBE participation, etc., and advises the Project Manager of issues
Generates requests for proposal(s), solicits and reviews quotations, and recommends a procurement decision to Project Manager
Generates estimates of change orders and may interface with pre-construction on original bids
Leads LEAN/SQP committee and identifies improvement opportunities
Analyzes targets and goals, job cost summaries, and other reports
Ensures all subcontractors are in compliance with terms of subcontracts, generates, and obtains approval on impact notices as needed
Generates and obtains approvals of monthly billing and earned values
Gathers and roughs-in monthly financial reports, and participates in the project financial reviews
Generates and obtains approval of the initial budget and subsequent updates, and reviews weekly job cost summaries and advises the Project Manager
Generates material quantity take-offs, scoping documents, terms and conditions, delivery, etc. as applicable to support the procurement process
May coordinate tracking and completion of training requirements with project management
Follows Company Recruitment and Hiring Guidelines
Alerts the Superintendent and Project Manager of project impact relating to resource management, crew make-up/size, etc.
Generates and obtains approval of technical records such as constructability reports, RFI's, inspection records, work packages and deviation reports
May conduct new-hire orientation and process E-Verify (must be certified)
Coordinates with the Superintendent, Field Project Engineer, and Line and Grade to generate required as-built records
Manages work package closure, punch lists, and project turnover process and approves pre- and post-pour checklists

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years’ of experience or 6 years’ of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Basic understanding of construction software such as Primavera, Timberline, Vista and the like
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and government regulations
Ability to analyze and compute mathematical differences from all stages of drawings from conceptual to final drawings including development of shop drawingsAbility to understand Cost Accounting
Ability to communicate well with all levels of workers involved with the project
