Tasks

I’m recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer to join a collaborative team delivering varied projects across the industrial, residential, retail, commercial, and healthcare sectors. You’ll lead packages of work, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and produce high-quality technical outputs to UK codes and standards. If you’re ready to take ownership of design delivery and client coordination on a varied portfolio, let’s have a confidential chat. -Lead structural analysis and detailed design across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry. -Use industry software (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds) to deliver robust, efficient designs. -Coordinate with architects, MEP, and contractors to produce fully integrated, buildable solutions. -Manage workload across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring quality and consistency of drawings and reports. -Undertake inspections, surveys, and assessments of new and existing structures; compile clear technical reports. -Champion standards, safety, and quality (Eurocodes/UK Building Regulations). -Represent the team in client and design meetings, supporting bids and proposals where needed.

What You Bring

-Chartered or near-Chartered (IStructE/ICE). -BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering. -Excellent communicator with proven report writing and stakeholder management skills. -Strong consultancy experience across common construction forms and building types. -Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable prioritising across competing deadlines. -UK consultancy background and a clean driving licence.
