General Manager

Overview

Oversee financial, safety, and operational performance of telecom construction area.

Tasks

-Assist in disputes on all projects, negotiating as required to resolve construction problems. -Evaluation of employee performance, job assignment, employee retention, employee career path, and development of your team’s skill set, and knowledge of the telecom industry. -Prepare weekly revenue and cost reports. -Manage material, equipment and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. -Work with the OFS support team, back-office staff to ensure compliance with both internal, external reporting deadlines and financial reporting requirements. -Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the overall construction and project management department. -Interface with customers, vendors, subcontractors while identifying additional opportunities for market growth and sustainability. -Directly oversee Construction Supervisors, Managers, Project Managers, programs to ensure projects are constructed as designed on budget, while constructing safely, with quality and on schedule. -Develop processes and procedures to facilitate the successful completion of projects from start to finish. -You track new and completed work with a high level of quality

What You Bring

-Driving a safety culture, SSO compliance, MVI, TRIR and DART metrics. -You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work -You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software -You have at least 5 years of progressively challenging leadership experience, preferably in a telecom construction environment -You understand basic accounting principals
