Tasks

-Ensure compliance with ASME standards and GD&T best practices for aerospace applications. -Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet design, quality, and cost objectives. -Design and develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter. -Assist with RMRA (Risk Management and Root Analysis) assessments and contribute to Cast-to-Hogout design processes. -Apply advanced mechanical design principles to optimize manufacturability and performance. -Participate in the development of complex components, including starters, pneumatic valves, actuators, motors, and solenoids. -Support supplier and customer meetings as a technical representative.

What You Bring

The engineer will play a key role in conceptualizing and improving designs for critical aerospace systems such as starters, pneumatic valves, actuators, motors, and solenoids, ensuring high precision, reliability, and manufacturability. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. -Experience working with castings, forgings, and hogout designs. -Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. -Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks efficiently. -Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in aerospace or related fields. -Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME standards. -Driving Requirement: None. -Familiarity with environmental testing requirements, including EMI compliance. -Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. -Timekeeping System: Time Work Bench. -Initial phone screen with the Hiring Manager.
