Overview

Provide on‑site support for automatic transfer switches at critical power facilities.

Tasks

-All work and decisions shall be conducted in strict compliance of all regulatory laws -Conduct client communication in a highly customer service-oriented manner and potentially expand the scope of project work as well as negotiate any extra charges associated with work performed -Provide technical support of field startups (standard and non-standard systems), warranty efforts, remedial repairs, and preventative maintenance contracts -Supervising and ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines and laws -Reading schematics and blueprints for power control, automation and customer technical support

What You Bring

-Must be self-directed and very committed to customer satisfaction -Individuals must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing -Power distribution, DC/AC, Voltage Circuit Theory and practical troubleshooting skills -Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering -Experience with most types of automatic transfer switch testing -3+ years experience with the following: -Familiarity with all applicable codes and industry standards -Electrical power including low voltage through medium voltage switchgear in support of critical power facilities (IE data centers, airports, etc…) -High School Diploma / GED -Strong project management skills with excellent decision making, organization and management capabilities -Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future -Applicant must carry a cell phone and be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. -Excellent customer service, time management and follow-up skills -Proficient in taking care of client interactions and completing projects on time and within budget guidelines -Travel requirements: Up to 80% travel

Benefits

-The pay range for this position is $56,000 - $96,000 plus travel and overtime. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location. The position can be filled at a higher or lower level.
