Tasks

-Gather, manage and disseminate requirements from/to a range of internal and external customers. -Own the definition of the product cycle. -Provide insight and analysis of real-world operation and customer usage. -Simulation/modelling of gas turbine cycles, hybrid electric systems, cycle analysis, engine operability, sizing and/or preliminary design analysis -Provide insight into product/aircraft interaction. -Provide data to sub-systems for product design and development. -Provide prediction and analysis of product attributes at the whole system/platform level. -Define and manage system and product interfaces. -Manage relationships with internal and external customers.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 1+ years of experience OR; -Engine cycle design to meet aircraft manufacturer or government objectives including current and future technologies -Masters degree in in Engineering or regional equivalent qualifications -In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen -Experience in thermodynamic cycle modelling in Numerical Propulsion System Simulation (NPSS) or similar -Knowledge and experience of product integrity / liability and certification frameworks -Proficiency in computer programming language such as C++/MATLAB, Python, and/or Fortran (Engineering modelling and design) -2-4 years of experience in transient performance-related support of the design and/or development of gas turbines
