The Role

Overview

Manage product returns, inspect items, update inventory, handle vendor paperwork.

Tasks

-Manage the entire returns process, documenting, and processing returned items. -Conduct thorough inspections of returned products to determine their condition and eligibility for resale or disposal. -Assist with maintaining and tracking the return process on a shared Excel spreadsheet. -Daily basis assisting clerical tasks for all outbound shipments -Update inventory records accurately to reflect returned items and ensure inventory levels are maintained through managing return reports. -Physically preparing products to be returned to a vendor and completing vendor claim and shipping paperwork. -Assist the inventory control department with physical inventory counts and audits to reconcile discrepancies/ensure data accuracy.

What You Bring

-Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. -Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). -Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness. -Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics is a plus. -Specialized skill(s): Ability to read English, some Spanish preferred -Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. -Certification(s): Proficient in Excel, Word required -Should have reliable transportation to work -Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams. -Prior experience: Admin Asst experience preferred
