Tasks
-Provide input to management on project resourcing and staff forecasting needs -Actively support recruiting efforts -Provide quality control reviews of work developed by others -Generate construction and equipment specifications -Responsible for the electrical engineering design work on assigned projects; Function as the “Engineer of Record” on projects -Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of the design work -Lead improvements in project efficiencies by creating, updating, and implementing group specific standards/templates and researching and recommending software packages/plug-ins -Participate in and present engineering and design work at client meetings including those requiring occasional travel -Collaborate with multi-discipline technical leads to integrate electrical across the full spectrum of projects and client solutions -Function as technical electrical lead on assigned projects -Leads technical business development work -Develop task and deliverable list with associated hours estimate and schedule to support business development activities -Support projects through complete life cycle including the feasibility phase, preliminary and detailed design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning -Provide mentorship to other electrical engineers within the US Energy Practice and other remote teams -Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects -Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. -Support Director of Engineering in advancing the culture of technical excellence and accountability -Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling -Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise -Monitor your teams project progress to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget delivery of projects -Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects -Perform engineering calculations to support and direct construction deliverables (specifications, reports, drawings) -Supervise and lead a team of electrical engineers through their individual and team technical development for greater utility to the organization and overall career satisfaction

What You Bring
-Experience workshare with high value engineering centers -Professional Engineer (P.E.) license -Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish. -Field construction and commissioning experience -Demonstrated experience in participating complex, multi-discipline programs/projects and teams -7+ years as discipline technical lead on industrial or power generation projects -Physical design experience for industrial facilities -Expert familiarity of current building codes and standards -5+ years experience in team supervision -Experience working in collaborative 3D model environments (e.g. Navisworks) and laser scan data -Approves and signs off on work -Solar or BESS facility experience -Expert familiarity with industry codes and standards (NFPA, NEC, NESC, IEEE, etc.). -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering +10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience within industrial and/or power facilities or equivalent combination of experience/education -Power systems analysis software experience (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower) -Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, now, or in the future -Successful experience working in remote and multi-discipline teams
