The Role

Overview

Inspect, test, and maintain high/medium/low voltage electrical power equipment.

Tasks

-Develop and write reports. -Perform High, Medium, and Low voltage testing of electrical power equipment as a crew leader . -Utilize Human Performance Error Elimination concepts and tools. -Lead safety briefings on job site, identify , eliminate, or mitigate hazards. -Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel in order to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and determine optimum equipment functioning. -Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components. -Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.

What You Bring

-Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs. -Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical /Electronic technology, or Military experience preferred -Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record. -Complete a satisfactory criminal background check. -Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time. -CT ration & saturation -Knowledge of the following equipment: -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Industry Certification Programs preferred - e.g. Infrared, Corona, Oil Analysis, Manufacturers, etc. -5+ Year s Relevant Industry Experience -Understand the theory behind and reason for testing with the ability to analyze results. -Ability to install, test and maintain electrical apparatus. -Leader in Safety Culture and responsible for other team members. -Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. -Experience with the following test equipment:
