Tasks

The Facilities and Maintenance Technician supports the local facility, assists the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) manager in compliance tasks, delivers according to the preventative maintenance program on all assigned machinery, performs proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning machinery, and installs new equipment and systems according to the engineering team’s guidance. This is a 100% on-site position located in Boulder, CO. -Support with Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS), compliance, quality, and security tasks. -Support manufacturing operations by responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner; including conveyors, pumps, cappers, fillers, labelers, environmental chambers, refrigerators, robots. -Perform building and grounds maintenance and respond to facility issues, including being on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep the facility in good running order. -Research equipment manuals and interpret engineering drawings to perform repairs. -Perform thermal inspections of electrical equipment utilizing an infrared camera. -Operate shop equipment safely; including lathe, mill, drill press, welder, lifting hoists. -Operate mobile equipment safely; including forklift and scissor lift. -Supervise vendors to ensure safety policies are being followed and projects remain on plan. -Will be required to be on-call on a schedule with the other maintenance technicians. -Assists engineers with project work. -Maintain accurate and thorough maintenance records. -Build, wire, and install electrical enclosures. -Install, troubleshoot, repair, and set up mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, piping and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems on manufacturing and facilities equipment. -Print, program, and issue employee badges. -Contributes and participates in capital projects. -Perform preventative maintenance, housekeeping & lubrication tasks.

Any unsolicited resumes and ****Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity**** -Effective problem-solving skills. -Mechanical aptitude. -Understand and follow Veolia safety policy and applicable standards; including lock out tag out (LOTO), personal protective equipment (PPE), hot work, elevated work, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70e, National Electrical Code (NEC). -Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and motor controls experience -Ability to lift up to 50lbs -Self-starter with the ability to work independently at times -Fabrication, welding, and machining experience -Ability and willingness to read documents and implement such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. -Thermography certification -Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges -Great attention to detail, takes pride in quality craftsmanship -2 years or more work experience in a manufacturing environment as a facilities or maintenance technician -Electrical certification -High school diploma -Possess initiative, able to work independently, is reliable and thorough. -Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
