Overview
Lead development of industrial, warehouse, and data center projects across East Region.

Tasks
-Collaboration with all stakeholders; such as Customer Led Development (CLD), Customer Led Solutions (CLS), Capital Deployment, leasing and Regional Property Management, Global Development Team etc. -Coaching the local Prologis Development project management team across performance, staffing and growth. -Mentoring and leading junior colleagues by providing feedback, supervising performance, sharing expertise and honing judgement skills. -Managing all development aspects for Speculative and BTS projects including: Managing the entitlement, design and permitting processes. -Develop and strengthen relationships with local jurisdictions, general contractors and design consultants. -Accountability for your development portfolio performance (design, cost, schedule, quality, safety). -Promote the Prologis brand with passion in a positive, can do demeanor with a real focus on efficiency and effectiveness. -Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.

What You Bring
-7+ years’ experience in a similar role working in the field of Real Estate Development, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. -Be self‐motivated and have the ability to multi‐task and prioritize with minimal direction. -Possess a hardworking, positive demeanor, be a standout colleague and customer service oriented. -Driving impact and show strength of lean construction, GC bid negotiations and design optimization initiatives against targets. -Computer proficiency: MS Project, BlueBeam, Google Earth, in addition to normal Microsoft 360 tools. -Consistent track record working in the field of land development and construction management. If education is technically in engineering, architecture or real estate development, applicant should have a minimum of five concurrent years’ experience managing construction projects. -Proactive in approaching solutions and problem solving. -Experience championing a project from acquisition through due diligence, entitlements, permitting and construction. -Resiliency and being proactive in receiving constructive criticism with a strong continuous-improvement mindset. -Experience on design/build projects. -Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and challenging environment. -Display excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to travel up to 30% within the East Region, potentially more based on project locations. -Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (Civil or Structural) or equivalent experience preferred. -Project management experience with a general contractor or owner’s rep.
