The Role

Overview

Develop and verify software for GNSS receivers using C++, Python, MATLAB.

Tasks

-Automate testing and post-processing using MATLAB and Python. -Actively participate in code and test reviews and provide constructive feedback. -Design, execute, and document software verification methods for NovAtel's Ground Reference Receiver and Anti-jam products. -Contribute to the development and testing of GNSS Reference receiver software, and anti-jam product software, depending on your skills and interests. -Troubleshoot failing tests and/or units under test to identify and resolve issues. -Develop software and tools in C++, Python and MATLAB for testing and product improvement.

What You Bring

-Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. -Registered in an Engineering Internship/Co-op program and have completed at least your 2nd or 3rd year of studies by the start of the work term. -Comfortable working independently but knows when to seek guidance. -Enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Geomatics Engineering at an accredited post-secondary institution, with a focus on software development and signal processing. -Detail-oriented and capable of following complex instructions with a “first-time right” attitude. -Confident self-starter with strong problem-solving skills. -Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Python. -Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. -Strong academic credentials.

Benefits

-Available for a minimum 12-month work term, working 37.5 hours per week.
