Tasks

-Undertake technical preparation, review and checking of deliverables within the team -Oversee projects budget and financial performance -Stay informed about industry trends and best practice -Work collaboratively with the Liveable Places team and our colleagues in the wider Mobility team and the wider WSP business to achieve our aims and objectives -Act as Project Manager on a wide range of projects whilst helping to grow and develop our work with clients -Work directly with our clients to achieve their sustainable transport needs

What You Bring

-A civil engineering degree, transport planning degree or equivalent -Proven ability to lead and manage project teams and individuals -Proven track record in project management and financial control -A proven ability to support with winning public sector work and can support our growing offer in Greater Manchester and Liverpool City Region -Good spoken and written communication skills. With the ability to liaise with others including public sector officials, members of the public and other senior colleagues -Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (desirable) -Transport, road safety, parking and traffic engineering experience -Knowledge of current transport policy and standards
