NSS Insurance Coordinator

Overview

Ensures vendor insurance compliance by reviewing certificates, updating records, and liaising.

Tasks

-Communicates with Division personnel on status of non-compliant vendors. -Participates in the Records Retention process for the NSS Accounts Payable Team. -Reviews vendors’ insurance certificates to determine if requirements have been satisfied. -Adds/Maintains vendor information in third party insurance compliance tracking system. Reviews insurance compliance reports and facilitates resolution of outstanding issues. -Functions as the liaison between the division, vendor and third party insurance administrator to ensure our vendors are insurance compliant. -Maintains vendor hold listing in the financial system. -Participates in continuous improvement efforts within the NSS Accounts Payable Team, and the collective NSS Department.

-Strong verbal and written communication skills -Knowledge of insurance industry -Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 2-5 previous related experience -Minimum Associates degree or equivalent -Strong Excel skills
