Lead Maintenance Technician oversees maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Tasks

-Support capital improvement projects and facility upgrades as needed. -Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, including procurement of parts, tools, and supplies. -Provide daily/bi-daily status updates on equipment and verification that all task prerequisites have been met and task are on track to eta's provided. -Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure a timely response to equipment breakdowns and facility repair needs. -Manage vendor relationships and oversee external contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services. -Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment service logs, and facility inspections. -Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for fabrication equipment including laser cutters, press brakes, forklifts, and other production machinery. -Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address potential issues proactively. -Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Safety teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives. -Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards related to equipment safety and facility maintenance. -Coordinate and supervise repairs and maintenance of all campus facilities, including fabrication shops, assembly lines, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
