Tasks

-Facilitates planning construction methods and procedures. -Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. -Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. -Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required. -Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals, -Reviews and approves inspection test plans, -Prepares construction drawings and sketches. -Initiates requisitions for field purchases -Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development.

What You Bring

-Technical knowledge of construction surveying, piping, hydrotesting, and welding. -Basic understanding of production management including scheduling. -Demonstrated commitment to a Zero Accident safety program. -Must be computer-literate in word processing, spreadsheet and Bechtel database applications. -Basic knowledge of cost management including estimating and forecast development -Knowledge of work packaging. -Experience with the piping discipline such as PCCP, HDPE, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloy piping. -Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities -Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H). -Basic ability to utilize the TeamWorks automation suite as the Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs). -Sound communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. -Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience. -Must be familiar with current industry quality standards. -Knowledge of Project Technical Requests (PTR) for routing and resolving Requests for Information (RFIs), Field Change Documents (FCDs), and Non Conformance/Compliance Reports (NCRs) between project sites, contractors, clients, and home office.
