  • Assist in the development of procedures to assure Planners/Schedulers coordinate with Cost Controllers on assigned projects to forecast cash flows and annual budget information and reporting for Earned Value management (EVM) and status of Contractor Progress payments.
  • Assist the preparation and tracking of detailed annual group budgets and cash flow projections.
  • Inform management of deviations from established processes or schedule updates which may impact business outcomes.
  • Develop effective relationships with key internal and external partners/peers.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the Business Teams in Development, Construction, Procurement and Operations to understand their needs and to solve properly their requests.

  • Direct, coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors to take responsibility for their quality and punctuality of their assignments.
  • Project, Program and Enterprise level planning and scheduling of projects of appropriate levels for FEL 1through 7 for entire project portfolio.
  • Refine and communicate standard Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for Wind, Solar, Battery Storage and other Avangrid projects as necessary.
  • Adhere to effective internal controls.
  • Planning and scheduling of capital projects and project-related operational tasks for communication and integration to the various stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
  • Build and lead a team of planner/schedulers for the creation and care of Project and Program level schedules
  • Perform SOX control review and address all deficiencies with necessary remediation plans.
  • Conduct long term planning & scheduling of all capital project including Wind and Solar Farms, repowering project, and Battery Storage.
  • Monitor and advise project management on compliance in respect of the project contractual obligations.
  • Participate and contribute effectively to Internal and External Audit, serving as a key participant as issues or questions arise related to evaluations over internal controls over schedule reporting.
  • Conduct critical reviews of contractor developed schedules, including Critical Path Methodology (CPM) and prepare Schedule Reports to identify key points, Schedule Health Issues, and areas of concern

  • Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) experience required, with Primavera Certification preferred
  • Experience in managing planning scheduling projects activities from development phase through construction.
  • Experience working in a team and delivering against aggressive targets and reporting requirements.
  • Requirement to travel to renewable sites and projects when required. Ability and willingness to travel 10-25% of the time.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at varying levels of the organization and to deal with third parties, project teams and consultants.
  • The understanding and knowledge of EN/ISO or ASME codes is desirable
  • Good presentation skills for effective communications to facility management and the project managers
  • Experience in managing teams of construction scheduling professionals.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management at all levels from the corporate offices and operating facilities
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in capital project planning and scheduling
  • Proficient in all aspects of scheduling and planning, including managing interactive scheduling and planning sessions with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience in the Renewables Industry (Wind and Solar) is highly desirable
  • Ability to analyze problems, providing creative solutions when required.
  • Experience and skills planning multiple projects and coordinating them through their various phases
  • Able to act as Owner's scheduler (high-level planning) and to review and analyze Avangrid Contractors' schedules and other Stakeholders
