Tasks

The Department of Transportation Services is looking for a Maintenance Management Information Systems Specialist (Planner VI) to oversee the development and implementation of the Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS) for rail including the design, business rules, data requirements, access, privileges, and business processes. -Ensuring the MMIS provides users with access to incident tracking, asset tracking, service request and work order tracking, maintenance planning, inventory, purchasing, warranty claims, key performance indicators, and reports. -Responsibility for overseeing MMIS process improvements. -Reviewing project and program material requirements, analyze current inventory levels and recommend additional ordering quantities and appropriate delivery schedules. -Ensuring the Contractor is fully utilizing the MMIS, implementing new patches and versions, addressing MMIS issues, and making sure the system operates with resilience.
