Tasks

-Ensure proper documentation of slag quantities and disposal records. -Operate UFD loader to remove slag from furnaces, ladles, and designated slag pits. -Identify and report any abnormalities in slag composition or equipment performance. -Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance of the UFD loader to ensure optimal performance and safety. -Coordinate with furnace operators and production teams to ensure timely slag removal without disrupting operations. -Maintain cleanliness and safety of slag handling areas. -Maintain clear communication with control room and yard personnel for efficient workflow. -Adhere strictly to PPE requirements and safety protocols, especially in high-temperature zones. -Monitor slag cooling and solidification processes to ensure safe handling. -Transport slag to designated disposal or processing areas in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
