Tasks

Support Drawings review (Standard & Special) Responsible for issue of all piping deliverable documents - Plot Plan, Equipment layout, key plans, support design, isometrics, material take offs, pipe material specifications and material requisitions/TBE, Piping technical specifications(insulation/painting/tracing. Etc., Valve Data Sheets & Data sheets for Piping items (Speciality & Non speciality) Review & checking of UG and AG piping isometrics Uses past experience & previous projects lessons learned on current job to create error free high quality Piping 3d model/deliverables. Flow check of Pids with 3d model & datasheets/etc. Equipment design and nozzle orientations checking Has already been responsible for leading piping teams.(last 5 years supervisory experience required) Reviews the work of subordinate piping designers and drafters in his team. This work includes the checking of layouts, study drawings, detailed 2-D and 3-D (CAD) design models and construction drawings. Review of material quantity estimates Review of engineering studies and reports Should be able to manage projects as Piping Lead Engineer and be responsible for the proper and timely execution of projects. System design, including concept sketches and layouts checking Attend Model Reviews with Client. Monitors and checks work for compliance with approved design standards to provide quality design, reliable/safe plant operation and construction economy. Performs comprehensive & fully independent review & checking of Piping Design Deliverables. Reviews design documents & provides comments on Vendor Drawings Performs independent piping studies. Reviews material quantity take-offs (MTOs) Complete Checking of Piping Deliverables - Plot plans, Equipment layouts, Piping GADs, Load Sketches, MTO control and 3D design model reviews(Navisworks) & Isometrics. Reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and vendor data by other engineers or by suppliers

What You Bring

Minimum 15 years experience in Piping Design/Plant Layout (Only Relevant Design Office Experience to be considered in Oil & Gas onshore, offshore, process plants) Economic Piping & Equipment layout with focus on safety, accessibility, operability, maintenance ability & constructability. Have high loyalty to project deadlines and quality requirements, be systematic and accurate. Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of PID's for Production design Excellent communication skills in English required, oral and in writing (Non-Negotiable). Expert in usage of Navisworks for 3d model review Must be able to verify Manhour estimates of design for cost control Must be able to provide Piping Isometrics utilizing E3D design software Minimum 5 years Lead experience Having knowledge of International Piping codes & Standards. Extensive knowledge & application of ASME B31.1/ B31.3 and EN Codes. Must be able to provide a comprehensive Material Take-Off Must be able to provide field assistance during design, planning, and construction phase Multi-office project execution experience. Minimum 5 years E3D Design and Draft experience Bachelor or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with proven leadership experience in Process/Power/Chemical-Petrochemical Plants -Onshore/Offshore/Greenfield/Brownfield Projects Piping Manhour Estimation experience on the Project. Must be capable of leading design review meetings Must be able to provide Pipe Support/Hanger packages Special process P&ID requirements for piping e.g. free draining, no-pocket, sloped, 2-phase lines, etc. Minimum Qualification Required- Piping manhour estimation experience preferred. Minimum 15 years’ experience in Piping Design
